Back in June ’12 I had the most wonderful opportunity to go on a workshop in London run by one of my all time favourite South African photographers Christine Meintjes. She is just as amazing in real life as she is portrayed via her work. One of the biggest ‘wow factors’ from this workshop was how completely honest and open Christine was in sharing what she’s learnt, how she’s progressed and all of her ‘tips and tricks’. The majority of the time we discussed starting up a photography business in the wedding industry but we also had a chance to photograph a stunning (real, not models, believe is or not) couple along with a super elegantly styled table by one of London’s trendiest wedding planners Louise from b.loved Weddings. It was an amazing two days of inspiration and creativity that I wish I could put on repeat. The other photographers that I met on the course are all fabulous individuals and each one of them inspire me to get going with my photography. We all are starting in same way, none of us have a degree in photography, the only way we can develop our skills and style is by just shooting at every possibility.
And here are some fun behind the scenes shots from the day!
And the wonderful Tatum from Tatum Reid Photography with the beautiful Bea….
