Unfortunately due to the downpour of snow we had over this previous week I was unable to get to my computer at work to upload my pictures. We live in the country and on a hill so the combination of that with a car that isn’t 4 wheel drive meant I was house-bound for a couple of days. I decided to combine weeks 3 & 4. In this post there are the mandatory ‘snow pictures’ but also some snaps from Cornwall. Over the weekend we went to visit Falmouth, a beautiful little town on the Cornish coast. It was very ‘spring like’ down there with sunshine, sea air and shrieking seagulls, so it was a little weird coming back up to the Midlands where everything was covered in thick snow. We also went on a quick trip down to London to visit some friends who were celebrating their son’s fist birthday. We took our niece along with us who was desperate to go sight-seeing, so on the way home we decided to drive straight through London on a whistle-stop tour of all the big sites: Tower Bridge, London Eye, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and Harrods. Today is another glorious day of sunshine, and it’s beginning to feel as if we’re moving on from winter. Ranunculus are out in the shops – these are one of my favourite flowers.
I love guinea fowl feathers. My sister is very kindly collecting them for me seeing as she’s graced by their presence in her garden.
This is Falmouth…
This little guy is now 1-year-old! He is adorable!
Iphone pictures: London!
And these are GORGEOUS ranunculus! I’d love to have them as my main flower at my wedding but unfortunately it’s the wrong time of year!
