Just over a year ago I was working for a company called Britten Weddings who specialise in handmade wedding accessories. One of the many reasons why I admire this business so much is their focus on constantly developing their brand, not simply just creating new pieces for brides but for also being very conscious about the importance of social media and website imagery.
A lot of time and money is spent on their photography for their website, and they use a fabulous team in London called Gooch & Gawler who off both the styling and photography for a shoot. I was very lucky to be asked to tag along, not simply just to help with the accessories but also to help take a few behind the scenes photographs which I was thrilled to accept. It was such a fabulous opportunity to see professionals at work and in particular a real styled shoot that could easily be seen in some of the UK’s top wedding magazines.
The venue that they chose for this shoot was absolutely incredible – this was a house whose sole use was to be hired for shoots and/or as a movie set.
